DS Machining is the precision manufacturing division of DS Kompoziti d.o.o., combining extensive CNC machining experience with modern technology and practical engineering knowledge.
Our journey into CNC manufacturing began with the need to produce highly accurate tooling for our own composite products. What started with a 3-axis CNC machine has developed into a comprehensive machining capability, including 5-axis machining, CNC milling and turning, and the production of precision components from a wide range of materials.
In 2013, while developing modern model sailplanes for competitive use, we needed precise moulds for the serial production of our aircraft components. This led us to purchase our first 3-axis CNC machine and begin developing our own machining expertise.
The experience gained through manufacturing moulds and components for the Vortex and Ultima model series became the foundation for our CNC machining business.
Over the years, we expanded both our technical capabilities and our understanding of CNC manufacturing. We progressed from 3-axis machining to 5-axis processing and continued to invest in equipment, technology and knowledge.
Today, DS Machining provides precision CNC manufacturing for prototypes, small-series and serial production. We work with metals, composites, engineering plastics and other suitable materials, producing components where accuracy, repeatability and surface quality matter.
Our expanding machine park allows us to take on a broader range of components and production requirements, from complex 5-axis milled parts to larger-format components and precision-turned parts.
Our latest equipment further expands these capabilities and allows us to support customers with increasingly demanding machining requirements.
DS Machining and DS Composites are two specialised divisions of the same company.
